Traeger Grilled Stuffed Burgers



With the wood pellet grill, these Traeger Grilled Stuffed Burgers get a smoky twist that makes them taste great. They are very juicy and tasty because they are filled with cheddar cheese, onions, pickles, tomatoes, and bacon. Great for a barbecue or a party outside!

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1/4 cup diced pickles
  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup diced bacon
  • 4 hamburger buns

  • Wood pellets for smoking e

Instructions:

Preheat your Traeger grill to 350F 177C and set it up for indirect grilling with wood pellets for smoke flavor

While the grill is heating, divide the ground beef into 8 equal portions

Flatten each portion into a thin patty, making 8 patties in total

Season 4 of the patties with salt and black pepper

Place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each seasoned patty

Place 1/4 cup each of diced onion, pickles, tomatoes, and bacon on top of the cheese slices

Carefully place the remaining 4 patties on top of the toppings, creating stuffed burgers

Press the edges of the patties together to seal the stuffed burgers

Place the stuffed burgers on the preheated Traeger grill grates

Grill the burgers for about 6-8 minutes per side or until they reach your desired level of doneness

While the burgers are grilling, toast the hamburger buns on the grill for a couple of minutes until they are lightly browned

Remove the stuffed burgers and toasted buns from the grill

Assemble your burgers by placing each stuffed patty on a toasted bun and adding your favorite condiments

Serve the Traeger Grilled Stuffed Burgers hot and enjoy!
